Position Title:  Inbound Materials Coordinator

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting rate is $18.00 per hour
  • Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, 401k with 4% company match, sick and vacation leave

Position Summary: Coordinates and organizes the inbound and outbound flow of freight at the docks while maintaining proper procedures and paperwork. Helps sort and send inbound equipment to the proper departments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for proper truck unloading
  • Organizes inbound unloading flow and staging area
  • Maintaining a clean work environment
  • Operate a forklift
  • Assists the Inventory Supervisor with “put-away” and “locating”
  • Works closely with Inventory Supervisor and Purchasing Supervisor on the trucks that are inbound each day
  • Responsible for organizing the equipment for optimized truck loading.
  • Responsible for visually inspecting and documenting inbound equipment for damages.
  • Performs other duties as required. 

Supervisory Responsibility:  None

Qualifications / Education / Experience Desired:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Basic skills in MS Office
  • Ability to become forklift certified, and operate a forklift
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Ability to be actively moving throughout the entire workday.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Positive Attitude. 

Language / Mathematical / Reasoning Ability:

  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong math skills required.

Supervision Given:

  • This position will report to the Inventory Control Supervisor
  • The position holder is expected to be able to work with minimal oversight at times, able to confidently handle situations on their own
