Financial Analyst
Position Title: Financial Analyst
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range is $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
- Benefits include bonus potential, health, dental and vision insurance, 401k with 4% company match, equity shares, sick and vacation leave
Position Summary: The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and providing insights on financial reporting and analytics, trade spends analysis, and customer profitability. The position will report to the CFO, however, will work very closely with all cross-functional teams to ensure information is shared timely and effectively across the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver recurring financial reports that will provide timely and accurate insight of business results
- Prepare monthly sales analysis reporting, including sales by customer and sales rep tracking
- Make recommendations for process improvements to increase automation and efficiency.
- Create and maintain financial models using complex data sets and formulas to deliver insightful reporting develop multiple scenarios, provide recommendations, and improve financial projections
- Perform monthly variance analysis compared to history, forecast, and budget.
- Analyze, identify, and communicate trends and issues impacting the business on an ongoing basis and make recommendations
- Partner with multiple cross-functional teams to prepare and communicate insightful results to business leaders to improve and predict performance.
- Support the annual planning process and the quarterly forecast process.
- Maintain standard cost analysis reporting.
- Assist with month-end close as needed
- Other accounting, finance, and sales projects when necessary
Supervisory Responsibility: None
Qualifications / Education / Experience Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance
- 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or other relevant position
- Experience in manufacturing required, experience in CPG industry preferred
- Experience working with QuickBooks.
- Expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Desire to be part of a small business team supporting the growth of an exciting food brand
Language / Mathematical / Reasoning Ability:
- Must be able to accurately document information in a timely manner.
- Must be able to write and speak, both clearly and effectively.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Very strong math skills are required.
Supervision Given:
- This position will report to the CFO and work with other department leaders
- This position is expected to be able to work with minimal oversight at times and be able to confidently handle situations on their own

Travel Required: Very Limited – May be asked to go off-site (locally) for training or company events.
